GRÆNANES COURSE, NESKAUPSTAÐUR

The greens run by the Norðfjörður Golf Club, Grænanes (an old name actually meaning a green tongue of land), are located slightly up the valley from the fjord. Located in a pretty setting, this pleasant, well-kept course can be reached by a short road across from Miðbær farm. The phone number at the golf lodge is +354 477 1165. The normal green fee is ISK 3,500 a day.

BYGGÐARHOLT COURSE, ESKIFJÖRÐUR

Directly across the river from the village, the Byggðarholt course has magnificent surroundings and is a pleasure to play on. While the normal daily green fee is ISK 2,000, children aged 14 or younger are admitted free of charge. To serve golfers well, the course is open all summer and as far into the autumn as weather permits. Please check at the club lodge for more information.

KOLLUR COURSE, REYÐARFJÖRÐUR

Run by the Fjarðabyggð Golf Club, this course lies along low slopes just inland from Reyðarfjörður village, and offers beautiful scenery. The course is new and in fact still under construction, and is very easy to get around. The daily green fee is ISK 2,000. There is a putting green by the golf lodge.
