Svartholið is a small and a cosy guesthouse in Stöðvarfjörður run by the artist Anna Hrefnudóttir and the musician Garðar Harðar. Svartholið offers a friendly homestay in private rooms with access to cooking facilities and a shared bathroom.

Located in the basement of the house is the showroom of Galley Svarthol. This interesting art gallery is open daily from 13:00 - 16:00 over the summer, and over winter on Saturdays or by an arrangement.
