Located in Fosshótel Austfirðir, the info centre is open while the hotel is open, and is in this newly restored historical building, The Doctor´s house.

Providing visitors with basic travel info on Fjarðabyggð and vicinity, the centre's information kiosk features also publications that cover East Iceland as well as other regions in Icelands. 

An iPad has conveniently been embeded in one side of the information kiosk, so you can also go online, browsing the additional travel info you might need.

Free hot spots are availble in Fáskrúðsfjörður at Sumarlína Restaurant and l'Abri, a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.
