Sólbrekka offers two summer cottages with one bedroom and a sleeping loft, as well as a sleeping bag accommodation in Sólbrekka Guesthouse, with four double rooms and two single rooms.

Guests have access to cooking facilities, dining room, living room with TV, washing machine and dryer, as well as three shared toilets and showers. Hot tub is in a separate house. There is a possibility of extra beds and breakfast. 

From Sólbrekka you'll have a great view over the fjord and marked hiking trails in the area with hiking map available. Sea angling is possible as well as boat excursions around the fjord.

This area is well known for its great berry picking land.

Sólbrekka is open from 1st of July to 30th of September and the coffee shop from 1st of July to 20th of August.

Sólbrekka in Mjóifjörður is by road no. 953
 
From Egilsstaðir: Leave Egilsstaðir on road no. 92, direction Reyðarfjörður village. After about 10 km you turn left into road no. 953. Stay on road no. 953 for about 35 km and you see Sólbrekka on your left.
 
From Reyðarfjörður: Leave Reyðarfjörður on road no 92, direction Egilsstaðir village. After about 25 km you need to turn right into road no. 953.  Stay on road no. 953 for about 35 km and you see Sólbrekka on your left.
