Hotel Staðarborg is a beautiful hotel in Breiðdalur vally, only 7 km from the tiny town of Breiðdalsvík. The hotel opened in 2000 and is a renovated school and dormitory. It offers accommodation for 54 people in 30 spacious rooms each with a bathroom and TV. Additionally the hotel offers sleeping bag accommodation. Located by road nr. 95 the hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere as it is surrounded by nature. 

From here there are about 100 km from Seyðisfjörður making the hotel an ideal stop for those travelling with the ferry. There are various leisure activities in the area where everyone should find something to their liking i.e. nature hiking or Northern Lights hunting.

The hotel's restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also offers coffee and pastries during the day.

On the property there is also a camping site, a hot tub and sauna for the guests to enjoy.
